Whilst deep in the woods shooting the latest in a string of failed Horror B movies a team of three young student film makers accidently shoot something that just might make their film into a huge success.

Chasing a genuine spirit of a young woman into an old dilapidated house they stumble across a new dangerous but perhaps profitable discovery.

They decide to cut the original movie and go about making a new one based heavily around the newly discovered spirit. However the angry Spirit and recently fired cast and crew have other ideas…

Working Title is the first joint production short film from KAB Media and Genesis Flux Productions. The film was shot in the summer of 2008 and became a work of passion that brought a a team together from up and down the country. The shoot took almost two weeks to complete and was a heavy toll on everyone with many locations and a lot to film. We couldn’t find a suitable corridor for our most predominant scenes which has the three heroes do battle with the Bound Girl so we had to eventually design and build our very own in Kyle's garage. So that knocked us back another week!

The main house Interior which we shot was owned by a family friend of Kyles who were in the middle of redecoration (Score!) and was kind enough to let us shoot there for a week with haze machines, hanging dead people, and ropes!

The film itself is a Supernatural Comedy and takes a lot of inspiration from some Blockbuster favorites such as Ghostbusters and other 80s buddy movies. There are also some J-Horror inspirations too especially in terms of how the ghost is visualized.

Working Title had a lot of setbacks, time and money became large issues and problems with equipment had set things behind schedule more and more ... and then a little more. So completing such a demon project in time for this Halloween is going to be awesome. So don't miss it!

Matthew

Matthew's main skill in the team is his silver tongue. Although lacking in the common sense department he seems to have a knack for talking his way out of situations he inadvertently gets himself into.

For Ryan this is a useful tool as it helps him in his goals of being an Independent filmmaker, using actors and locations for free whilst giving nothing in return. Matthew would have probably become a used car salesman if he hadnt have bumped into Ryan who he now leeches grades off to graduate University whilst enjoying the student lifestyle.

Ryan

Ryan is the epitome of a Gorilla filmmaker, an obsession with the B-movie horror genre and camera in hand is all he needs.

Ryan is the heart of the team, always enthusiastic and raring to go, even his string of no good failed attempts at movies aren't enough to put him off trying again. But for all his effort, Ryan lacks other things that he needs, most noticeably, social skills and has complete disregard for the safety of himself, his cast and his crew.

Luckily he has managed to fall in with two people who fill those roles perfectly, Matthew and Aiden.

Aiden

Aiden is the much needed parental influence of the group, the only one to say "is that really such a good idea?" and "Maybe we shouldn't be throwing real axes at the actress".

His protective influence over the group have been seen on more than one occasion, usually when Ryan or Matthew have been taken advantage of or exploited. Not unlike Ryan, Aiden does have a love of film but less into the Horror genre.

Often quiet, Aiden is quite happy to sink into the background and observe the situation before making an informed decision about the next step, although his opinion's are often overlooked by a over-enthusiastic Ryan or a under-enthusiastic Matthew he always has patience and understanding for the two of them.
